• Today is Waste Free Wednesday. Thank you for helping the environment. Green Team come to Mr. Pinkerton’s room at 10:35.

•  Could all members of the junior girls and junior boys volleyball team please come to the gym during second nutrition break for a practice.  Bring your lunches!

• Yesterday, 12 of our fabulous cross country team travelled to Mount St. Louis to compete against the best of the best.  They all represented Birchview, their team, and themselves very well throughout the day and their races.  Congratulations to Jacob P, Tyler P Josh C, Jordan S. and Kaylee H from grade 8.  In the junior division, way to go Naomi B, Patrick P, and Braden B.P.  Special mention and congratulations goes to Lauren M. who, in the grade 5 girls race placed 26th out of 144 top runners.  Owen B. came in 13th out of 144 fast grade 6 runners, and Meghan H. finished an incredible 5th place in her race against 143 other high end racers. An extra special mention goes to Rebecka A. in grade 7 who, after a clerical error of Mr. McLean’s, ran with the grade 8 girls and managed to finish in the middle of the pack despite being in a higher age group.  Rebecka beat many of the grade 8 girls in the Simcoe West area and she should be proud.  Yay, Birchview.
