Birchview has got talent!

This being Birchview Dunes Talent Show season, we are supplementing the stage show by posting periodically some of the fantastic student art and writing K-8 that represents the artistic and creative talent we have here at Birchview.

Attached to this post, you’ll find one drawing by Matt from Mr. Carson’s grade 8 class. The fine attention to detail and vivid imagery indicate an artist who’s honed his ability over many years of dedicated practice. More coming soon!

We would like to thank OPP Constable Deakos who met with our K-5 students today. She talked to the primary students about what to do when a stranger approaches and to have a family plan if you get lost in a public space.
We would also like to thank paramedics Jackson, Kingsborough, and Williams who taught our grade 7 & 8 students about CPR and the defibrillator.
