New School Website Coming This Week

Many families have subscribed to the edublogs site that we currently use.  The SCDSB has upgraded school websites for all schools that include many of the same items we currently have plus many more features.

Below is a screenshot of the new website.

The subscribe feature (as on the current website version) on the new school website is a great way to stay up-to-date with what’s going on at school. By signing up on the Subscribe page (found at the top of the screen by the search bar), subscribers will receive the News items right to their email.

Provide input on proposed 2015-16 school year calendar

The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) invites public school communities to submit input regarding the proposed school year calendar for next school year (Sept. 2015 to June 2016). Input can be provided by visiting www.scdsb.on.ca, then clicking the link on the ‘School Year Calendars’ page under the ‘Schools’ menu. All stakeholders including staff, school council members, parents/guardians, students and members of the school community are invited to provide input. Feedback is invited until Jan. 9, 2015 to ensure the SCDSB meets school year calendar development timelines set by the Ministry of Education.

Buses cancelled Wed. Nov 19

**Wednesday November 19, 2014**

All school buses and vans in the Central, North and West Weather Zones have been cancelled due to current road conditions and the inability to access bus stops for the morning runs.

Schools remain open for student learning.

Inclement Weather Reminder

Please click on the School Bus Info link on the right side of the school’s website to link to the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium website for an update on busing.  All efforts are made to post cancellations between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM.  The local radio stations are also a good source of information regarding the busing status.
