Birchview Boost

Primary Students Dance it Up!!

The primary students ended their dance instruction with a performance on Friday afternoon.  The students and staff would like to thank all the parents who attended.

 

Cross Country Skiing

Snowmania

Congratulations to Mr. Pike and Mr. Pinkerton’s class for having the most students participate at the evenings prior to the Snowmania weekend.  They will receive a free Harvey’s lunch this coming Thursday (Feb. 28th).  A notice will be sent home this week.  The pizza lunches were won by classes at Worsley.  Mr. Floyd will be wearing something special on Thursday.

100 Day Celebration

Many of our primary students celebrated 100 days this past Tuesday.  The students enjoyed a number of 100 day activities organized by their teachers.

 

Winter Water Safety

Recently the YMCA and the Fire department visited our school to teach our students about winter water safety. We would like to thank both the individuals from the YMCA and the Fire Dept for coming to speak to our students. 




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cross Country Skiing

The grade 4 – 8 students enjoyed skiing this week.

Primary Dance

The grade 1-3 students have really enjoyed their time with the dance instructor.

Custodial Week

 Thanks for wearing Grey/Navy colours on Wednesday.   It was great to see the custodial office door filled with so many cards from students.  we have a great custodial team at Birchview Dunes.

Speech Competition

Lexie N. from Mr. Pike’s class and Natasha R.  from Mr. Carson’s class competed in the Stayner Royal Canadian Legion Public speaking contest, well with Natahsha placing third overall.

Valentine’s Dance

Students enjoyed a dance on Thursday.  Thanks to all who donated a perishable food item.
