  • Today is Waste Free Wednesday. Did you remember to eliminate garbage and recycling from your lunch today? Whose class will win the trophies this week? Stay tuned tomorrow for the results. Eco Team Projects crew please come to Mr. Pinkerton’s class following announcements.
  • ​Just a reminder for Youth Club tomorrow after school for those students who have signed up.
  •  This Friday will be our next Spirit Day.  Dress in black, orange and purple to show your school spirit and earn spirit points.
  •  We are also having our 1st dance of the year to celebrate Halloween and good work habits.  We are also holding a food drive for our local food bank.  Please bring in a can good or a loonie to donate as your admission to the dance.
  •  Good luck to junior boys’ basketball team who travel to Nottawa this afternoon for their area basketball tournament. The boys will be playing teams from Nottawa, Creemore, and Byng today. All players are reminded to meet Mr. Brooks in the front foyer at 11:45 today so we can be in Nottawa for our first game at 12:30. Also, please meet outside Mr. Brooks’ room at first nutrition break today (@10:35) to pick your jersey number.  Go Blazers!
  •  Today, we welcome Gabriella from The County of Simcoe Waste Management Division. She has brought the Mobile Education Unit, an interactive trailer parked in front of our school. She is here to talk to the grade 4’s about how to take proper care of the waste that we all produce. Teachers are invited to visit the trailer during their planning or break times.  ​
