• This announcement is from Ms. Kaufman and her Library Dragon, Miss Lotta Scales.  They would like to inform you that ALL library books need to be returned by Friday, June 13th.

• Yesterday, our junior and intermediate track and field teams traveled to Stayner Collegiate to take part in the area meet.  The weather did not look promising to start the day, but the rain held off, and Birchview competed very well.  With numerous students placing in the top three in many events, Lauren M, Josh C, Owen B, Dawson M, Kayleanne P. and several relay teams all took home first place ribbons. But it was the performance of the entire team that helped propel Birchview to the top of the standings to claim the winning banner to become area champions!  Coaches Duits, Ewaskiw, McLean and Carson would like to thank the team for representing Birchview Dunes extremely well, and for their efforts, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Well done Blazers!

• There will be an important rugby meeting in Ms. Ewaskiw’s room at the beginning of first nutrition break.  It is here that you will be able to pick up your permission slip for the upcoming rugby tournament next Tuesday. 

• This week’s Waste Free Wednesday trophy winners are…Mrs. Shackell’s class, Mr. Pinkerton’s class, Mr. Sammon’s class, and Mr. McLean’s class. Congratulations! Last week’s winners please deliver the trophies today.
