- Any teachers in the primary and junior divisions who have students that would like to submit their entry for the colouring contest sponsored by Anytime Fitness, are asked to kindly place them in Mr. Carson’s mailbox on or before this Thursday. Thank you.
- Recycling is cancelled today. Because we have lots of visitors in the school during recycling time today I thought it would be best not to be set up in the front lobby. Business as usual tomorrow.
- On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 a tornado caused significant damage to the property and lives of the residents in Angus, Ontario. As a final effort in our “Birchview Gives Back” campaign, our School Council is asking for your support of a Coin Drive to assist those affected by the tornado in our neighbouring community of Angus. Students are asked to bring any donations to school between Tuesday June 24th and Thursday June 26th, 2014. On Friday June 27th, 2014, the collected funds will be directed to the Sobey’s Store in Angus. This store will match each dollar raised by Birchview and contributions will be used to assist those families affected by the storm.
