  • Congratulations to this week’s Waste Free Wednesday winners. With the most Kindergarten garbage less lunches ever…Mrs. Tiessinga’s class wins the Earth Protector Trophy. In the primary division, Mr. Pinkerton’s class wins back the Eco kids trophy. We all know who wins the Junior trophy…Mr. Sammons class wins and goes unchallenged, yet again. The Intermediate Eco Warrior Trophy will be finding a brand new home in Mrs. Dea’s class this week. Well done!  Every container you bring helps to make our world a cleaner, better place to live.
  • Next week is Earth Week! Use containers all week and do things to honour mother earth and all the wonderful things she gives to you every day, free of charge. The whole school will be forming a giant Earth on the tarmac Tuesday period 6, the day after Easter. So, grades k-3 don’t forget your green shirts and grades 4-8, please remember to wear blue shirts. An agenda note would be a good idea to help you remember.
  • There will be a junior boy’s basketball practice TODAY at first break.  Come prepared in your gym clothes and indoor shoes.  Bring your snacks as you will have time to eat AFTER practice.
  • All junior girl’s basketball players must come to Mr. Osborn’s classroom, room 228, at 10:35 to get permission forms for next Wednesday night’s home tournament known as “Battle of the Beach”. See you at first recess.
