Parent – Teacher Interview On-Line Registration

Your child(ren) will have brought home a letter outlining how to schedule your appointment.  You will be able to schedule appointments from today (Oct 28) at 7:00pm to Monday, November 10th at 11:30

Instructions:
1. Go to the Birchview Dunes scheduling website at https://bdes.parentinterview.com (click on this link)
You can also use the link on the school’s website (go to Interview Page)
2. Enter your 6 digit code (printed on the form sent home) and click “Login”
3. Fill in your contact information and click “Continue to Make Appointments”
4. Click on the name of a teacher with whom you wish to schedule an appointment
5. Click on “Available” for a time at which you wish to meet with that teacher
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 until you have scheduled all the teachers you wish to see
7. Click on “My Schedule” (top left of the page)
8. Print out (or copy down) your schedule and bring it with you

Please make an appointment for your homeroom teacher.  In the notes you can request that the Sp Ed teacher join.  Parents of all students are to set up an appointment with their homeroom teacher.  If you would like to speak to a teacher your son/daughter has on a rotary schedule, please contact that teacher directly.

  • Tomorrow is Waste Free Wednesday. Earn spirit points, win a trophy for your class, and help our environment at the same time by only using reusable containers for your lunch. So, get packing Birchview. Good luck!
  • ​This Friday will be our next Spirit Day.  Dress in black, orange and purple to show your school spirit and earn spirit points.
  • We are also having our 1st dance of the year to celebrate Halloween and good work habits.  We are also holding a food drive for our local food bank.  Please bring in a can good or a loonie to donate as your admission to the dance.
  • ​Birchview’s EcoTeam wants to remind everyone to recycle their old cell phones that are lying around your house, or tucked in drawers. Ask for permission before bringing them to school. Each cell phone you bring in will be worth one spirit point.
  • There will be an Eco Team meeting today in the library following announcements at 10:35. All Eco Team members, including Projects Crew and Recycling Crew should be present. We will be discussing projects, making campaign teams and creating posters.
  • There will be a brief meeting for all junior boy basketball players today at first recess. We need to discuss our tournament tomorrow, rides, and when we will be leaving Birchview. Please meet outside Mr. Brooks’ room at 10:35.
  • Junior Girls’ last basketball practice is today at second break. Please be sure to have all permission forms with you for tomorrow’s Junior Girls” area tournament. See you at 12:55 girls.Intermediate Girls’ basketball team will practice tomorrow at 12:55. Please make sure to tell your coaches ahead of time if there is some reason that you can’t make the practice.
