• Auditions for the intermediate talent show will take place early next week.  Listen for announcements and be sure to get your act ready.

• “The following announcement is brought to you by the Birchview Dunes Green Team.”  The Waste Free Lunch trophy winners this week are…Mr. Mclean and Mr. Pike’s class, Mr. Sammons class, Mrs. Wonta and Mrs. Emond’s classes, and Mrs. Shackell and Mrs. Tiessinga’s class. If there is a new winner in your division, please pass the trophy on today. Did you know that waste from homes in Ontario totalled 4.7 million tonnes of garbage in 2011.  Where does all that garbage go? Please remember, when we all care a little, it means a lot. Try to bring a Waste Free Lunch to school.

• Do you have any toys, games, movies or books that you don’t use anymore, but are still in good shape? If so, bring them to school next week. You will receive a credit that you can spend at our second annual EARTH DAY SWAP and SHOP on April 22nd. That’s right folks, the Swap and Shop is back! So, start setting those clean, gently used items aside and bring them in next week.
