  •  Do you know where Terry’s idea to raise one dollar per Canadian came from? He ran through a town called Port au Basques in Newfoundland and when he left, he had raised one dollar for every person living in the town. Terry thought if that could happen on a small scale, why couldn’t it happen across the country and so out of the generosity of that community, Terry’s new dream was formed.
  •  Thanks to everyone who signed up for volleyball intramurals.  The first teams who can meet in the gym today during second nutrition break are Teams A, B, C, and D.  If you are not sure what team you are on there is a sheet posted on the gym doors with all of the information.  Please bring your lunches and be ready to play!
  • Ms. Kaufman would like to thank everyone for their support with the Book Fair.  She is happy to report that $2752 was made from the Book Fair and that she has already selected $800 worth of new books for the library.
  • Congratulations to Holly in Gr. 5 for winning the Scholastic Family Event Door Prize of $25 worth of books for home and Mrs. Duits winning $25 worth of books for her classroom library.  Thank you for supporting our library.

  •  A reminder to all students-if you find something that doesn’t belong to you, please make sure to take it to the lost and found which is located outside the Kindergarten room.  If you are not sure if it should go to the lost and found, please bring the item to the office.
